We are looking for interns to assist in day-to-day activities while learning how to launch a lean digital marketing team. At the moment, we are still in the start-up phase, which should change by the end of the summer. 

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to take an idea from scratch, then build and scale it quickly, this is the ideal role for you.

We embody a work hard play hard culture. As long as deadlines are met and we have regular strategy sessions to ensure everything is operating smoothly, this will largely be a self managed role. There are multiple marketing projects that we are looking to build and launch over the next few months. Come aboard if you’d like a future career in the exciting and rapidly-evolving FinTech industry. 

Upon successful completion of the internship, we will gladly write a letter of recommendation, serve as a reference or assist in any required process to receive credit from your university’s registrar’s office.

We are a 100% remote company so all you need is a working computer and reliable internet connection. 

Travel is not required but if the opportunity arises to work out of our Miami headquarters, El Salvador contact center or join as on the road to drum up new business opportunities as things start to open back up, we will certainly extend an invite to anyone interested.

Available Positions

Digital Marketing Intern

We have many marketing activities for which we need to build scalable processes. Ideally, we’ll work together to select tasks that fall in your wheelhouse or area(s) of interest. And of course, we will provide training and any resources needed along the way. 

Here are some areas we are looking to address in the near-term:

  • Manage content and social media calendars
  • Create landing/product pages, posts, Canva images
  • Oversee product launch schedule with outsourced freelancers
  • Organize email, reports, dashboards, digital assets and metrics
  • Assist in daily marketing management and occasional projects
  • Manage affiliate partnership program
  • Record, produce, and post podcasts
  • Coordinate blog posting schedule with contributing writers
  • Build, launch, and ongoing execution of bi-weekly newsletter
  • Receive and organize scholarship competition entries
  • Monitor marketing tech systems alerts and updates
  • Research, discover and share insights to help us build and scale the team quickly

Social Media Manager

The role will manage four brands (primarily on Facebook/Instagram with some LinkedIn and Twitter for the main business account):

  • American SBA – Main business site offering financial products and professional services looking for new customers and affiliates
  • Project Pillar – A coaching account for my business partner and I (as well as other affiliates in our network) to educate on starting and scaling small/mid-sized companies. We want to keep our personal stuff separate but collaborate on areas where we overlap.
  • Jaren Scott – Partner social media accounts. We are involved in a few online niches and would to start getting out there more by way of interviews, collaborations, etc. to drive traffic back to the main business. 
  • Mike Tibor – Partner social media accounts. Needs social media plan and someone to schedule activities.

Data Analyst

This position is will essentially be the heart of the digital marketing team and own the processes governing our database. Responsibilities include: 

  • Input, edit, and organize sales/marketing data in CRM

  • Maintain strict data integrity standards and database hygiene

  • Manage sales/marketing email and lead lists

  • Prepare, consolidate and present sales/marketing reports

  • Identify and analyze process improvement opportunities

  • Own preparation and organization of lead lists

  • Track ROI and present potential opportunities
